Searching for a port


If the Port you are looking for does not appear in the dropdowns, please try the following steps:

  1. Verify the spelling, to ensure the name was typed in correctly.
  2. Enter the port's Locode. Sometimes there are different names for the same port, and searching by the Locode can help spot such cases.




Creating a port and/or terminal


If after trying the above, the port or the terminal are not found, you can create the record in the system, by clicking on the port/terminal's name with your mouse, or by hitting Enter.


The system will allow you to create a port and terminal at the same time, to create just a port, or just a terminal if the port already exists.


The record will be created immediately, and you can continue to work on your voyage (you no longer need to contact Voyager Support to request a vessel to be registered).

Data validation


The record(s) that you create will be validated by Voyager Portal, to confirm that the spelling and other details are ok.


If, for any reason, the port or the terminal name is changed from the one you entered, you will receive a notification letting you know of the update.


Otherwise, the new record will be confirmed as-is, and will be registered for future uses.
