Filling out an amount settled on all claims is critical for financial and data accuracy for reporting and analytics. When you try to change the claim status to "Amount Settled" and the Amount Settled field is blank, a modal should appear asking you to choose how the settled amount will be defined. If you close this modal, the claim status should go back to what it was before selecting "Amount Settled".
Manual Entry Flow
Change claim status to "Amount Settled".
In the modal, select "Manual Entry".
Enter a value in the "Amount Settled" input field. 0 is an acceptable value.
Click out of the free field box and click “Confirm”.
The claim status updates to "Amount Settled".
The manually entered amount is saved as the amount settled.
Calculated Amount Flow
Change claim status to "Amount Settled".
In the modal, select "Calculated Amount".
Confirm the modal.
The claim status updates to "Amount Settled".
The calculated amount is automatically saved in the amount settled.
Counterparty Calculation Flow
Change claim status to "Amount Settled".
In the modal, select "Counterparty Calculation".
Confirm the modal.
The claim status updates to "Amount Settled".
The counterparty calculation is automatically saved in the amount settled.
