Time Bar Configuration and Expiry Date Calculation

To automatically calculate a timebar expiry date, enter in the number of “timebar days” and the starting point for the timebar clock as the “last occurrence" of a validated SOF in the “Timebar configuration” section.

  • Select the number of time bar days from the dropdown of 15/30/45/60/75/90 or use “custom” to create a free text to enter any value.

  • Select the event name that triggers the start of the timebar from the set of standard events such as 'hoses disconnected' or 'Vessel depart' or any ‘other event’ detected from the SOF

Note: If there are no validated SOFs, the bookmarked events will still appear with no dates. Since there are no dates, the timebar will not calculate. The system will automatically use the latest SOF.

Example of drop down before there is a validated SOF. Timebar is not ready to be configured.

Note: If you don’t have the applicable (e.g. final discharge) SOF parsed, it will use the last one available in the system. This could result in an inaccurate timebar calculation.

Once both of these fields are filled, a timebar warning with the expiry date and number of days remaining will appear on the top right of the claim.
