Affected Product: Claims Manager - Demurrage Claims
We are excited to announce an update to the claims interface designed to provide greater clarity in how demurrage calculations are displayed, including if commission is included in the claim, and faster troubleshooting. The calculated demurrage value displayed throughout a claim will now show the base amount without commission.
What’s Changing?
Claim Comparison& Rebill Cards: The "calculated demurrage", "difference", and "demurrage" on rebill values will now display the base amount. An information icon ("i") will appear next to these values if a commission is applied to the claim.
Detailed Calculation on Hover: Hovering your cursor over the "i" icon will reveal a tooltip showing the detailed calculation, including the commission rate and the final total amount with commission.Claim Manager Cards View: The "Demurrage Total" value will now reflect the total base demurrage amount without commission for easier review.
Final Balances: The total balance at the bottom of claims and rebills will also be displayed using the base demurrage value without commission.
No Change to Statements: Please note that the formal demurrage statement (PDF) remains unchanged and will continue to show both the base amount and the total with commission.
