To strengthen data privacy and focus your workspace, child companies within a corporate hierarchy will now only see voyages they are directly involved in. The Map, Timeline, and Schedule views will no longer display voyages from the parent company that the child company has no cargo on, ensuring you only see data relevant to your operations.

Impact on Users:

  • For Child Companies: Your views are now cleaner and more focused, showing only the voyages you need to see. Your data privacy is strengthened, as you can be confident other companies in your hierarchy cannot see your voyages unless directly involved.

  • For Parent Companies: You can confidently manage your hierarchy knowing that child companies only have access to the voyage data you explicitly share with them.

Note: This change does not affect the ability to append demands into a parent company's voyage from the Demand Planning module.

Example of Voyage created by Parent Companies:

Visibility for Child Companies with assigned cargo(s) on the Parent voyage:

Visibility for Child Companies not associated with the voyage via cargo(s):

The Child Companies are given visibility once they have been assigned to a cargo on the Parent voyage.

Now that the Child Company has been assigned to a new cargo on the Parent voyage, the voyage will now appear in their list as well:

Note: The Child Companies are restricted to the visibility of their details only. Details are not shared between the Child Companies.
