Product impacted: Voyage Management

The Group permissions enhancement is being rolled out to provide our clients a user defined security matrix. This will enable our Clients to scale up their utilization of the platform by providing other departments or internal stakeholders controlled access across the entire Voyage.

The implementation of this permissions structure at the Group level ensures that schedules and other critical data remains controlled by the core Operators or responsible Group and stronger document controls mitigates risk of data loss.

Voyage Group Edit Permission Details

Group level permission can be applied to the following Voyage areas:

• Voyage Details (Laycan, Charter Party details, Vessel name)

• Cargo Details (Type, Quantity, Load and Discharge Port etc)

• Schedules (ETA, ETB, Terminal etc)

• Documents

• Companies

• Audit Logs

All users from your company retain the rights to add new Cargo, Schedules, Documents and Costs. However, if they do not belong to the approved Group, they cannot change or remove data from these areas. 

Workflow permissions remain controlled at the workflow level. Groups that are involved in a workflow can still access key Voyage data as they complete assigned tasks.
