This use case is to merge claims created by external submission to claims already created by users or integrations within Voyager. The only data carried over is the counterparty amount and received date. This feature reduces duplicate handling and keeps claim history easier to manage.
- On claims with an "external" source, the additional menu (three dots) will have an option to "merge".

- Once clicked, the screen will return to the claim manager with the filter defaulted to payable claims with the same counterparty type and vessel name.

- Hover over the name of the claim to select as target.

- A confirmation page will then appear showing the difference between the source and target claim data.

- Once confirmed, you can go into the target claim. A comment will appear in the timeline of the target claim showing the merge with a link to the original claim. The original claim will be removed from the claim manager and reports.
