Login and Password Reset


To log into Voyager, please go to the portal's login page and enter your credentials.


  • If you forgot your password, kindly check this article for advice.
  • If you would like to change your current password, please check this article.



New users


If you need to request Voyager access for a co-worker or a new team member, please email your request to: support@voyagerportal.com


Please include:

  • Company name
  • First and Last name
  • Corporate email address
  • What actions they need to perform in Voyager?
  • What reports they need to see?


Our team will respond back if there is clarification needed in order to configure the right permissions for the new user.



Notifications

Notifications will let you know when relevant updates have been made to your voyages.


There are 2 types:


  • In-App: notifications received within Voyager itself, displayed by clicking on the bell-shaped icon, in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
  • Email: notifications received via email.


You can choose whether to activate one type, both or none


We recommend leaving at least the In-app notification "On", so you can know when updates have been made to your voyages.


To set up your notifications preferences, follow the steps below.

1. Open the Notifications panel in your account.



2. Click on the Set Notifications button.



3. Move the toggle button to turn notifications on and off.


Notification Preferences can be set up for:

  • Workflows Tasks
  • Voyage Requests
  • Comments
  • Schedule
  • Voyage Details
  • Documents


4. Click on Save.



*** IMPORTANT ***

  • The preferences are individual to each user. The changes saved on your account will not impact on your coworkers’.



Dashboard


The Dashboard is Voyager's initial screen, where you can view a summary of your:

  • Tasks to-do (as Responsible)
  • Open tasks (as Admin)
  • Requests received
  • Open Projects
  • Current Voyages
  • Reports (Select a dashboard)
    • NOTE: not all reports are published in the dashboard page. For a full list of your enabled reports, please go to the Reports section.


Each card will redirect you to the corresponding page.




Voyages


The Voyages page allows you to visualize all your voyages. 




By default, current and recently-completed voyages will be displayed. 


You can Filter and Search among them.


The voyages can be displayed in 3 different views:

  • Map: shows the voyages’ route and details.
  • Timeline: shows the voyages in a timeline to quickly identify their status and ETAs.
  • Scheduledisplays the schedule of the voyages in a table format. Schedules can be updated in this view.

Voyage Details


Open the Voyage Details page by clicking on the voyage name at the Voyages-page.


Tree-view

The tree-view on the left displays all your Current vessels.


  • Search and Filter options are available.
  • The tree-view can be collapsed, by clicking on the arrow-shaped buttons. 




The voyage header displays the Vessel name, Laycans, a summary of the Cargo and the Timeline at all times.




The Timeline animation shows the voyage’s progress. 

  • The time-window below the Ports shows the time spent at port, based on the ETAs and ETDs provided on the Schedule. 
  • The colored circles above the Port names indicate the port status.


Status - Color patterns:

  • Full blue: indicates ETA to ETD window is in the past.

  • Patterned - grey & blue: indicates ETA to ETD window is currently ongoing based on today’s date

  • White with port name in bold: indicates ETA to ETD window in time is scheduled in the future

  • White with greyed-out port name: indicates the port has been removed from the itinerary 

  • Early ETA: if a grey number with a - sign is displayed, indicates an earlier ETA in comparison to the original ETA date

  • Delayed ETA: if a red number with + sign is displayed, indicates a delayed ETA in comparison to original ETA date





Workflow tab

Depending on each customer’s requirements, different Workflows will be displayed within this section.


  • Only users configured as Responsible or Viewers are able to see the workflows. 
  • If you are not registered as responsible or viewer in (at least) one workflow, this section will appear empty.






The sub-sections will show In-Progress and Completed tasks.


When the Flow section is expanded, the tasks of the flowchart are displayed (*).

  • Green: are the tasks to be completed at that stage.
  • White: are tasks that are already completed or upcoming.


The progress bar will show the completion percentage and will also show different colors:

  • Green: for incomplete tasks with future due-date.
  • Red: for incomplete tasks with a past due-date (expired).
  • White: for tasks completed, or future tasks that don't have a deadline yet.




NOTE: this is a sample chart only. The design of the workflows are all customer specific.


The Flow will display all the Tasks or steps involved in the workflow.

  • Open each task by clicking on its box, or by selecting it from the In-Progress/Completed dropdowns below.


Tasks will always have Responsible and Viewer group(s)


These groups will be indicated in the top-left corner of the task box:

  • Responsibleis the group assigned to complete the task

  • Viewer: is the group  enabled to visualize the task, but cannot complete it nor update it.





The tasks can be Saved to continue working later, or they can be marked as Completed.


Group members can be direct-messaged from the Comments box, to collaborate.

  •  NOTE: only members of the Responsible or Viewer groups can be contacted through the Comments.


Requests

The Requests tab allows to:

  • Send emails to your stakeholders using the Request Info button.

  • The receiver does not have to be a Voyager registered user necessarily.


Under the Requests tab, you can monitor the Received and Sent requests, with details of Source, Task, Responsible, Status, and Deadline.




Request Info also has shortcuts under:

  • Schedule tab


  • Documents tab

Details


The Details tab displays the voyage Timeline and the Cargo details.


  • Add cargo lines using the Add Cargo button.
  • The cargo details can be edited using the pencil-shaped Edit button.
    • NOTE: only Owners of the voyage and users authorized through the workflows can make changes to the Cargo table.



NOTE: the fields displayed in the cargo table may vary depending on the voyage model customization. 


AIS


AIS (automatic identification system) provides vessel position. The information is updated every few minutes.

  • NOTE: the AIS is fed by terrestrial transponders. If the vessel is far from the coast, position updates might be delayed until it reaches the next terrestrial locator. This information is provided by MarineTraffic.
    • Clicking on the Vessel details will redirect you to the MarineTraffic website, where Vessel details are displayed.




Schedule


The Schedule tab displays the voyage’s itinerary.


If you are a Voyager Owner or a Schedule Editor, you can:

  • Use the Add Schedule button to add:
    • Ports
    • ETAs
    • ETDs
    • Actuals 
  • Enter the dates using the Date Picker or the Date Typing functionality.
    • NOTE: only Voyage Owners and authorized Schedule Editors can make changes to the schedule table.


You can drag and rearrange the columns according to your preferences, and the view will be saved for your next login.




Demurrage


Within this tab, all the Demurrage Claims associated to the voyage will be listed.



  • Create a claim by clicking on New Claim.
  • Add all the relevant details in the Demurrage Claim Module:
    • Contract (clauses)
    • Demurrage rate
    • Reversible condition
    • Despach rate
    • Commission
    • Owners LTC
    • SOFs
  • Calculate the time used versus allowed laytime to validate the demurrage costs.

Documents


Under the Documents tab, relevant documents can be attached to the voyage, using the Add document button.

  • Download, Edit or Delete documents as needed.
  • The Search box allows you to find documents by file name and user that uploaded it.


  • IMPORTANT
    • Documents attached through the Documents tab are visible to all voyage viewers
    • Files added through workflow tasks are visible only to the Responsible & Viewers of that task.





Monitoring Tasks & Requests


The Tasks section displays the Open tasks for the logged user.




Tasks can be filtered and searched by:

  • Voyage
  • Workflow/ Project
  • Task name
  • Responsible group
  • Deadline


The Go to Workflow button will redirect you to the Voyage-Workflow tab.




NOTE: the tasks displayed will depend on each user permissions groups and the workflows that these groups are involved in.


Within the same Tasks section, you can find a Requests tab, where you can monitor your all your Sent and Received requests.




Requests can be filtered and searched by:

  • Status
  • Subject/task
  • Source 


Reports


Reports are customer specific and will be displayed as cards within the Reports section.




Reports can be searched or filtered

  • The filter works based on labels or tags, that can be assigned to the report cards.





NOTE: Any new reports or changes to existing reports need to be addressed to Voyager Teamsupport@voyagerportal.com



Support

You can contact Voyager Support team at any time through the support widget in the portal.

Click on the widget and complete the Contact form. Some details will be auto-populated, like name, email and page link.
